The Tax Number
(Vergi Numarası)
A 10-digit identification number required to complete all financial transactions, tax payments, and official fees in Turkey.

How to Obtain It
01. From the Tax Department
Official documents required for an in-person application:
- A copy of your passport.
- A document proving your residential address (e.g., a utility bill, rental contract, or any document detailing your address).
02. Via the Internet
The Turkish government allows foreigners to extract the tax number online, without visiting physical departments.
- Visit the official government tax portal.
- Fill in the required data accurately.
Turkish Citizenship
Conditions by Real Estate Investment
$400,000
Minimum property value required to qualify for citizenship.
- Purchasing a property or a group of properties on Turkish lands with a total value of at least $400,000.
- Maintaining the property and committing to not selling it for a minimum period of 3 years.
- The applicant must hold a nationality allowed to own real estate in Turkey. (This includes most nationalities, excluding Syrian, Armenian, Cuban, and North Korean).
Required Papers for Citizenship
Official documentation needed to process the application.
- A bank receipt stamped and signed by the bank proving the money transfer and property purchase.
- A copy of the property title deed (Tapu).
- 6 personal biometric photos.
- The Buyer's tax number.
- A copy of the buyer's Turkish residence permit and family members (if any), or a copy of the passport's stamp for the last entry to Turkey.
- The marriage contract of the buyer, certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the issuing country, and attested by the consulate of the passport held, with attestation from the Turkish Consulate. Must clearly show husband/wife names and marriage date.
- The birth certificates of the buyer, wife, and children under 18, certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and attested by the respective consulates.
- If the buyer is divorced, the divorce document must be certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and attested accordingly.
- If the buyer is single, a celibacy document issued by the consulate and certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs with Turkish Consulate attestation.
- A power of attorney from the buyer (and wife if married) to our company to apply for citizenship, issued by the Turkish Consulate or Notary (children's names not needed for under 18s).
